This was a pretty busy weekend. 515 Alive, cars, and going out. oh and its hot out.

I ordered the new Steeda cold air intake from my Focus last week and I finally got it on Friday. I went over to Dereks after work so we could put it on. I tried to make a little guide to see if it might help anyone. Later that night Amy and I went over to Derek and Kari's so we could practive soaping a little before the 515 Alive demo.

On Saturday Amy and i got the house cleaned up and around 4pm I took the truck over to Dereks and packed up the rails and everything else for the demo. The Heely guys from Chicago came down for this demo and we met them downtown to setup. The demo went ok. We were setup right next to the skatepark and the skateboarders so we watched them more than anything else. We got some interest from a couple people who stopped by though. We also had one homeless guy ask if we were giving away free tshirts so we gave him one. Word spread very quickly through the homeless community that the guys in the white tent were giving away free shirts so about every 10 minutes another one would come over for a shirt. haha. Around 7pm we tore down the demo area packed up. Derek, Henson, Fred, Brad, and I went back to the Quality Hotel where the Heely guys were staying and took showers and stopped at the Governors Lounge bar to have a drink. We then walked back down to 515 Alive to see Aeon Grey. His set was really good but the stage kept losing power which sucked. Also, everyone down there had 40's so we had to get them to help stay cool. It was soooo hot downtown. We might as well not have showered after the demo. After Lukes set we headed to the Royal Mile for a while. Amy and I left around 11pm because she had to work really early the next day.

On Sunday Amy worked all day so I tried to find things around the house that I could do inside because it was so hot out. I hung up a coat rack in the hallway and put up the last towel hook in our bathroom. That night I met Derek, Kari, Kevi, Nick, and Nicole at Rock Bottom. Derek and Kari had just picked up Kevi from the airport from his flight from Florida for a job interview.
