Not much has been going on lately. Just working and trying to stay busy outside of work. Amys great grandmother passed away a couple weeks ago. We went home for a few days to spend some time with the family and attend the visitation and funeral. It was a really sad time back at home, but it was nice to see a lot people we missed at Christmas.

Some guys and I from work joined a broomball league in Des Moines. We play at the Metro Ice facility in Johnston on Sunday nights. I finally got my D-Gel shoes. Our first game was ridiculous. No one had the proper shoes, padding, etc. We got stomped 14-0. Last Sunday was the first game that we were all prepared to play. We beat The Lexingtons 3-1. So excited!!! Monday morning my body hurt, bad. Derek and I had snowskated for a couple hours before the game which I am sure did not help. haha. When did I start getting old? woops.

While we were back home for Christmas my dad, my brother, and I got tattoos. I know it sounds really stupid and decision made on a whim but we all wanted one and actually decided about a month before, so we had plenty of time to think about it. Pictures are here.

I also ordered a new computer which just shipped today from China. weird.

btw ... I'm going to be older on Sunday (turning 24).
