Well Derek and Kari's wedding has come and gone. The weekend started on Friday when Aaron and Cassie got into town and we met up the with the wedding party at the cAb after they were done with rehearsal stuff. Then Saturday Jeff (Kari's dad) had all the guys over to Dereks house for pizza and there homemade wheat beer (so good!). Then we rode the pocket bike and hung out for a while. Jordan and Bethany showed up around 3 and we met them at my apartment and started getting ready for the wedding. Amy got off work and got home around 4 and she got ready before leaving for the church in Johnston which is maybe 2 blocks from my apt. The wedding was really nice. John (the pastor) did an excellent job during the entire event. Dereks uncle played the guitar and sang twice during the wedding and he also did a great job. From the church we squeezed 25 people into a 20 person Hummer limo.

We arrived at the Marriot in downtown Des Moines and went in for the reception. This reception was the nicest one I have ever been to in my entire life. Live band, sit down 4 course meal, and the open bars. Aaron took full advantage and wanted to drink martinis all night but they wouldnt give him one so he ordered glasses of vodka with an olive all night. He ended up running around with a black bow tied around his head all night while Cassie watched. hhaha fun times were had.

Then Sunday Aaron and Cassie left early and then Jordan and Bethany took off for Indiana.
