Amy and I have been talking for a while about getting a new car for her. We've been looking online, doing research, and watching for the perfect car. She really wanted to get a Vibe. We have looked at everything from a Toyota Yaris to a Ford Escape. We finally found a 2004 Vibe in Newton, IA which is about 30 minutes from Des Moines. We went up and looked at it last week and picked it up on Monday. Its a nice car. Its got a lot of room and is going to be perfect for traveling and camping this year. I really hate to get rid of the truck. Its been a great vehicle to have around. I really wish we had room to just keep it, but Amy's dad is buying it from us so we'll get to see it again I'm sure.

Saturday night ... where to begin. Amy and I met Derek, Kari, Nick, and Nicole at El Azteca for dinner for Cinco de Mayo. We had a few margaritas and went back to Dereks to play Nicks Nintendo Wii for a while. It got kind of late so Nick and I decided to just stay at Dereks over night. We ended up driving to Walmart to get another controller and ended up at Stix for a while. We got free drinks and a frozen pizza. Awesome. Nick and I ended up downstairs playing some more Nintendo. A few minutes later we went to check on Derek and the pizza upstairs to find him spread out on the kitchen floor. Apparently we drank more than we thought. woops.
