Dont't think for a second that I'm promoting this. I must have received a dozen emails/text messages about this event. I for one don't see how this could possibly work. If I don't get gas today that means I'm just going to get it tomorrow or already got it yesterday. The fuel companies know we can't function witout filling up our giant vehicles. They're not going to budge because of one day. For real changes to happen lifestyle changes will have to be made, not little one day protests. We are going to need to buy smarter vehicles, carpool, and drive only when necessary ... etc.

During these times of high gas prices I can hardly hold myself back from pointing and laughing at the guy pumping gas next to me in his H2, and to the organizers of this May 15th Gas Out, nice try.
