Amy and I finally got to go back home for a weekend. We took off from Des Moines Friday afternoon and got home around 4. We went out and saw and my dad and grilled out and drank some beer Friday night. On Saturday my dad, Amy, and I went fishing at my dads house in the pond. After that Amy and I did our usual rounds of seeing family. Saturday night Amy, my brother, my dad, and I went to Peoria and saw Aaron and Cassies new house in Bartonville (right outside of Peoria). Their house is HUGE. The basement is like another house by itself. Cassies parents were there and we all went up to Old Chicago for some pizza and beer. I was happy to see that they had Sam Adams Octoberfest already. Its one of my favorite seasonal beers. On Sunday Amy I had to split up so we could see everyone. I went over and checked out my brothers new apartment in downtown Galesburg which is going to be a really apartment when he gets it done. Around 7pm that night Amy and I finally got back on the road and headed back to Des Moines.
