this past weekend was my 22nd birthday. Derek came down on Thursday, and Aaron stopped by that night on his way to see Cassie. (her birthday is the same day as mine) So Derek, Aaron, and I went out for a beer. Aaron drove Derek and I back to my apartment and we then headed back to the bar where we ended up staying until 1am. Anyway.....to make a long story short, Derek convinced Aaron that i was in jail and my bail was $2,000. Aaron said he was going to get Cassie and come right back to Macomb to get me out. what an awesome friend! haha. sorry dude.

Friday - (my birthday) - Kevi drove down from Cedar Rapids to hang out with us. Derek, Kevi, Amy, John, Kate, and I went to the pace for the entire night. We danced A LOT. Oh and Derek and I made shirts describing our awesome skills. (as described in Napolean Dynamite) We also surprised Kevi with a shirt. So Friday night was a blast.

Saturday - Kevi had to leave around 1pm to go back to work. my apartment smelled really bad for most of Saturday. Derek and I hung out all day and then when amy got off work we cooked a big meal. after we ate we went to the jackson street pub and had a few drinks. after that we went to my apartment to find something else to go do. while amy and i were sitting there i heard derek start snoring. so we decided to go to bed too.

so yep it was an awesome weekend!
