I love long weekends. I also really like the 4 day week after them.

Friday night I really wanted to go out so i went over to Derek and karis house totally raedy to go somewhere. I had my brown shirt and jeans on when I was informed that we were going to a black out party at Crush and that I would need to be wearing all black clothes. I really thought this meant they were just going to turn the lights down a little more than usual. So we spent almost 2 hours getting gas and food and trying to get downtown for a martini. We finally got to The Lift and Amy met us down there after getting off work.

On Saturday Amy and I went to Home Depot and got a screen / storm door for the back door. Then I met Luke, Mindy, and Mindys brother at Action Jacks for a few hours of paintball. It was a lot of fun. There was one point where 2 of my teammates and I had a guy pinned down behind a wall about 10 feet in front of us and I got sick of us going back and forth with him wasting ammo. I waited for him to shoot a few more times then flanked him to the right and did a big loop right behind the wall where he was and popped a few at his legs. All I heard was a lot of profanity and something about a 20 foot rule. woops. haha. The rest of that day Amy and I got the new door put on and finally got to relax and hang out with eachother.

On Sunday I got pissed because there was a small gap on the screen door so I took it down, made some alterations, and re-hung it. I also did as much to the upstairs landing as I could without going back to the store.

Monday pretty much ruled because I got to sleep in and didnt have to go work even though I did do a little work in the afternoon from home. Man I wish I could just work from home all day. I also went up to the Ankeny skate park and played for a while then came home and skated in the driveway for a while.
