Derek and I went to a Nine Inch Nails concert at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines a couple weeks ago. It was so much fun and so good. The band who opened for them were called Moving Units and they really reminded me of the Cure the second they started.
Wedding plans have been going relatively smoother than they were. We have our flowers picked out, limo reserved, etc...
Friday night Nehru and I went over to Trents house and played poker with some of his friends where I proceeded to quickly lose my money. haha. it was fun. i also drank my first PBR ever. probably the last time I ever have one. Then Saturday night Kevi came over to help make beer. I made a Tradition European Bock so it should be really tasty. Within 8 hours of starting the fermenting the yeast was going crazy and it was bubbling non-stop for about a day. Then Kevi said something about wanting to go see a concert but didnt have anyone to go with so Amy and I asked him who it was and he said Third Day. We've seen these guys a couple times at Cornerstone so I wanted to go. We quickly got tickets and headed up to Ames Sunday night for the concert. They played with The David Crowder Band and the whole show was amazing. I picked up both of their new CD's.
looking forward to warm weather...
