This weekend Iowa got hit with a huge rain/ice/snow storm. Amy and I decided we should probably go get some food on Saturday because we didnt know how bad the weather was going to get. We also decided we needed something to do in case we got snowed in so we ran to Home Depot and got some paint to get the downstairs bathroom finished up. I also have been wanting to get contacts for quite a while and have been calling around to get an appointment to find out that Im going to have to wait until April to get in. I called Pearle Vision Saturday morning and they had a cancellation for that day so I got in right away and left with my new contacts. no more glasses! For the rest of the day Amy and I painted, watched movies, and watched the snow build up.

On Sunday the weather was finally starting to let up a little so I got the deck shoveled off so Josie could go outside, we finished putting the bathroom back together, and I played Half Life 2 for a while. Then we headed off to broomball, and we killed The Lexingtons 7 to 0. Winning is more fun than losing.
