Wow what a big week for music.

Monday night I went to Rock Bottom with Derek, Nick, and Nathan before heading downtown with Derek to go to Vaudeville Mews to see Gaiden and Swollen Members. We missed most of Gaiden but got there just in time to hear the crowd yelling POP-U-LATION! Derek and I ran down to The Lift for an iPod Monday The Queen is Dead martini which are very good. We went back down and watched Swollen Members and they were really good. This was the biggest show I have attended at VM, so many people there.

Then Thursday night was the Rufio / Rent K / MxPx show at the Val Air Ballroom. I've been looking forward to this show for a long time. It was sooo packed with people. Most of whom were no more than 16 years old. I would say the average age was 15. As Derek pointed out, "look at all the zits.". haha.
So anyway the show was really good and I almost lost my shoe. Both bands were a lot better at Cornerstone.
