Amy and I headed back to Illinois Wednesday night. We got to her mom's house kind of late and went right to bed. We had dinner at my parents house on Thanksgiving. It was nice. No rushing around, just lots of visiting and eating. I brought my dads laptop back with me to give to him. The screen was broken on it so I found a used laptop just like his on ebay and swapped out the screen, memory, battery, and wireless card. (the first time i turned it on after swapping the screens and it worked I was very relieved) On Friday we went to my mom's house for dinner. Once again, no rushing just good food and visiting. I picked up the router and a bunch of tools from Bills dad. On Saturday we had dinner with Amy's family at her grandmas house. We had lots of good food and got to spend a lot of time seeing everyone. On Sunday we stopped at my parents house really quick so I could pick up a pottery wheel that my dad got a hold of for me. They had it in storage at his work and were about to throw it away so he got it for me. I can't wait to start playing with it. We headed back to Des Moines Sunday morning. The Vibe was really tested on how much stuff could be crammed in it this weekend. Clothes, dog stuff, dog, pottery wheel, tools, router, me and Amy. haha.
