Where to start?

well as you can see my site has undergone a huge change. the front end is different and back end RULES now! i have been really trying to get this thing working so when we are in Hawaii i can keep people updated on how the honeymoon is going for us. And speaking of honeymoons, the wedding is going to be here in no time! i think i have already gone through my nervous stage. im more concerned now that the event itself is going to go well and things will go smoothly so we can enjoy the day. we are frantically trying to get addresses gathered up so we can get our wedding invitations sent out.

also, amy and i bought a house!!! well a townhouse, but still its going to be awesome. we get the keys June, 12th and have a week to move out of our apartment, and then one week later we get married and go to Kauai. i cant wait for June to be over. hahaha.

last month i was having a ton of problems with my cavalier and i ended up putting about $800 into just to get it in shape to trade it in. i ended up getting a red ford focus zx3 hatchback. its got a 5-speed manual transmission and the cooler of the available engines for the car. im excited to maybe do a few mods to it like intake, exhaust, and some interior things, we'll see.

i had my bachelor party a couple weeks ago in des moines. derek got it all organized for us. the weekend started with skating after work on friday. then aaron, rick (aarson father-in-law), and my brother Jake showed up around 7pm and instantly started celebrating Cinco de Mayo with Corona and homemade salsa. then amy, derek, kevi, jake, aaron, and rick all headed to rock bottom for dinner and beer. saturday we went to action jacks and played paintball for a few hours which was a ton of fun. then we all showered and got ready and met back up at dereks to grill. derek got a purple and orange school bus to drive us around to bars all night. we had a ton of fun and i remembered the WHOLE night!!!

so yeah its been a busy year so far for us, and the summer isn't looking any slower.
