what a great weekend!
i went to Des Moines,IA to see Derek for the weekend. i met Kevi at a rest stop about an hour from des moines so i could follow him into des moines. we were meeting derek and a few guys he works with a the cAb, which is a very nice smoke free bar. we then ended up going to Rock Bottom for Rocktoberfest beer. sooooo good!
that night we started filming our un-named scary movie to enter in the Good Morning America: Show us your scary movie contest. we are going to win (hopefully). we got done with that around 1am and headed to Legends for pool and my first martini. not so good.
then saturday we went to HuHut for lunch. i love HuHot. then went skating for a bit. I wanted to try sushi so we had dinner at Taki. After all that we headed for the Tech N9ne concert at the Val Air Ballroom. It was a great show. Kutt Calhoun was really good, and Project Deadman was awesome. Then Tech N9ne came on. We didn't stay for the entire show but everything we saw was awesome. He played all good stuff for sure. Also, one of the dudes from Slipknot was DJing in between sets. He was pretty good.
After the concert we were going to this new bar called Crush. Apparently there is a rule restricting the wearing of tennis shoes so of course we had to get pimped out for the rest of the night. hahahah. we went to Crush then got bored and headed to another bar called Drink. we played pool for the rest of the night there.

so yeah this was a very good weekend. we did lots of stuff within 1.5 days.

also, me and aaron installed these in my car today. $25 from Ebay.
